Request: Lord, I want Your word to be my foundation for life. Help me value and obey Your truth above all other influences. Amen

Lord, thank You that your word is God breathed. That there is no voice but Yours and Yours is perfect. Thank You for the peace that comes in knowing that. Please keep me attuned and listening to you. Amen

I picked the second part of the verse from 2 Timothy. “…that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”
Thank you, Lord, that you have given us ample direction, example, and teachings in your word. When I don’t know what you think about a situation I know that I can ask you for wisdom and I can seek your counsel in your word. Help me to seek you and your way first before I seek out the opinions of others. Help me to not lean on my own understanding. Help strip that false teachings from my mind that I have heard over the years and replace them with your truth.
