Faithful ones,
Today is a day of your choosing.  Where will the Spirit lead you today for your quiet time with Jesus?

I had a beautiful Selah morning! I have been doing several Bible studies simultaneously, so I focused on my other studies this morning, and chose a verse that really challenged me from 2 Chronicles 18:3 “Will you go with me to Ramoth-gilead?’ King Ahab of Israel asked King Jehoshaphat of Judah. Jehoshaphat replied, ‘Why of course! You and I are one, and my troops are your troops. We will certainly join you in battle.”

This turned out to be a dreadful decision, because Jehoshaphat did not listen to the Lord, but just wanted to be “friends” with King Ahab. I could so easily be fooled, like King Jehoshaphat. He compromised to please another, instead of pleasing God. Father, protect me from the sin of valuing unity OVER following Your directions! Help me value obedience to You most of all …
