Have you never heard?
Have you never understood?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of all the earth.
He never grows weak or weary.
No one can measure the depths of his understanding.
He gives power to the weak
and strength to the powerless. Isaiah 40:28-29
Lord, I have one more long day, and all the energy I’ve been so amazed You gave me this week feels gone. So, here I am in Isaiah 40, being reminded of how big and able You are to do as You choose! I come asking for strength and energy for today, Lord. Please provide what I need to love the people I’ll interact with well. And thank You that You give power to the week and strength to the powerless! I lean on You.
